Seam pops on New York City bridge, flattens tires on 20 cars

On Tuesday night the George Washington bridge had a seam that popped, causing flat tires to 20 cars. This bridge connecting New York to New Jersey, spans the Hudson River. This incident also caused much traffic since the bridge is used by many drivers.

Congressman warns about radiation from airport scanners

The New York representative, Steve Isreal, is warning airports about the radiation risks of the Backscatter x-ray machines. He said it is especially harmful for young children and pregnant women. Rep. Isreal had a meeting on Tuesday to talk about this health risk.
